Lundbeckfond Ventures is a life science venture fund investing in life science companies primarily in Europe. Lundbeckfond primarily invests in later stage drug discovery and development, medtech and diagnostics. Their investment focus is within pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals, medtech and diagnostics. They will primarily invest in pre-clinical and early clinical projects and companies and are particularly interested in the speciality pharma segment. They will also invest in medtech opportunities with prototypes developed and tested, as well as in diagnostics. Lundbeckfond is also open to opportunities in all therapeutic areas. The fund's primary focus is Europe, but they will selectively engage in investments in the US through their network. Lundbeckfond will take the role of lead investor in northern Europe.
