Baring Communications Equity (Emerging Europe) Limited ("BCEE" or "The Fund") is a Telcom Media and Technology focused fund based in the Emerging Europe region. BCEE was established in December 1997 to invest in unlisted technology, media and telecommunication companies throughout Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS on behalf of its investors, including: Alpha (5E Holdings), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), ING Barings, Toronto Dominion Bank, Nissho Iwai (IXC), JP Morgan (Chase Manhattan Bank), HarbourVest, BoA Merrill Lynch, Lexington Partners and several other private and institutional investors. Together, they have participated in transactions worth in excess of $100 billion. The company looks at both early stage investments and buyouts, from Â1 Â- Â100 million of equity.
